Global use of ‘Fahrenheit’ or ‘Celsius’

when will the rest of the world catch up

One half of the thing on the list were not done by Americans first.
Murica, country of the idiots, where 90% doubt the evolution theory.

First off your 90% evolution is completely bogus, you Neanderthal.
Secondly, Wikipedia states the United States has about 492 separate pages of notable inventions and 42 of the most prolific inventors of all time, which blows the competition away.  You know, inventors like Edison, Tesla and George Washington Carver.  But, you know, that’s from the American Wikipedia site and lord knows we Americans could care less about the rest of the world, so let’s look further.
The US destroys the rest of the world in GDP and beats out all except a handful of very small countries in GDP per capita.
The US outspends the entire continent of Europe and most of Asia combined in R&D Development.
The US is second only to Japan in percentages of granted patents in the world.
The US leads the world in venture capital and private equity attractiveness.

The US has the highest personal income per capita.
The US has the most published science journals.
Not only is the US the home of the largest company in the world (Walmart) and the largest electronics company (Apple), but it also the home of the most billionaires. It’s actually quite awesome to see how the US compares to other countries.

BusinessWire: “…survey asked executives to name the three countries they viewed as the leading innovation champions; the U.S. topped the list with 67 percent.”
USNews: “American Exceptionalism: It’s in Our Genes”
Cato: “Why America Leads the World in Medical Innovation”
Reinventors: “How America will lead the world into the all-digital, fully-global, more sustainable 21st century”
US Department of Commerce: In the process, the United States became the world’s most innovative, most educated, and most competitive nation. Since 1980, the United States made up between 20 and 25 of the world’s economy while having only about 5 percent of  the world’s population.
I could go like this all night though, but you get the picture.

Sure does smell like an American style ass-kicking.

I don’t have time to run down the whole list but Tesla was Serbian, mang.
Also the us spends more on the interest on its national debt than it does on space travel so just let our fucking priorities sink in for a bit

Did you see that? It was the point…and you totally missed it.

…”mang.”
As far as the interest on the debt and the disassembling of our space program, we’re working on throwing out the bums responsible for that.
In the meantime, you should check out a little US private company called SpaceX (coincidentally founded by the CEO of Tesla Motors) which is driving the next level of space exploration…that’s right, a private company in the United States is working on space travel.
